pickard-design, ltd. is a concept and process driven multidisciplinary collaborative studio focusing largely on the design and use of objects, systems, and environments in contemporary culture. Through our collective work we have competed in multiple national and international design competitions and worked in collaboration with numerous artists, architects, designers, and planners and have completed dozens of projects ranging from residential remodels and new-builds to interiors and custom furnishings and from limited production products to corporate web sites. Through the use of front line technology, a collaborative studio, and a rigorous design process we are able to provide our clients with exceptionally high quality products and services from concept to completion. We set out to approach every problem with a variety of solutions that are not only functional, cost effective, and timely, but original, innovative, and visionary. Our work has received critical recognition, including several academic and industry awards, and has been featured in several publications and gallery exhibitions. Recently, I was interviewed by the CBS Sunday Morning show regarding our doghouse designs following the [Sub]urban Doghouse being named to ReadyMade Magazine's RM100 list of top projects of the year and being published in the "ReadyMade 100 Project Manual" which is available now from McNally Jackson bookstore in New York, NY. This looks to be another exciting and news filled year for us, anticipating new products and redefined services along with some major changes in our office.
