| Thomas Residence, Blacklick, Ohio Currently working on the programming, schematic layout, and design drawings for this residence in Blacklick, just outside Columbus, pickard-design is focusing on the "open spaces and private sanctuaries". The layout for the house is intended to present the occupant with "ever-present focal points" and "expanded horizontal views" through its use of interlocking spaces and material structure. | Patioscape, Perrysburg, Ohio pickard-design is currently working on the design and construction of an outdoor living space at a residence in Perrysburg, Ohio. The design consists of paneled arbor style fencing, located on three corners of the patio, sporadically spaced to mimic the natural tree trunk / forest pattern, while providing privacy from the street. The landscaping will be extended and include stone walkways and a fireplace. Finally the patio will be covered in a three part semi-transparent tensile-fabric awning, from which the lighting will be hung. Currently under construction - Expected date of completion: Spring 07 |
