Youth Hostel Facade

The design for this structure is focused on the masking of a fully glazed facade to control and frame views from within and reveal individualized points in the program to the exterior. Slots of space become occupiable as the living quarters expand to become platforms between the two skins of the hostel. This system allows for the coexistence of natural light and privacy in the structure's urban context.
